José Nogueira da Rocha Scholarship

An initiative promoted by APAH of which Erising is a Partner.

On the 23rd of June, the Project Winner of the José Nogueira da Rocha Scholarship was announced

The project “Distribution of hospital linen: process improvement”, presented by the Director of Hotel Services at Centro Hospitalar Tondela-Viseu, Marlene Lopes, was the big winner of the 1st edition of the José Nogueira da Rocha Scholarship, which took place on the 23rd of June.

This APAH initiative, which has the support of the Common Use of Hospitals Service (SUCH) and the technical support of Erising, in addition to honoring one of the greatest Portuguese Hospital Administrators, aims to “recognize and enhance the support areas of the units that make up the National Health Service, supporting their teams in developing the necessary skills so that they can proactively contribute to transformation processes in their organizations.”

Among the 26 applications submitted in this 1st edition of the José Nogueira da Rocha Scholarship, the 10 best projects were selected according to their suitability and potential impact.

After deliberation by the Jury, the President of APAH Xavier Barreto, the Member of the Board of Directors of SUCH Ana Maria Nunes and Maria Jorge Nogueira da Rocha awarded the prize consisting of “access to a specialized consultancy program to support project implementation, particularly focused on identifying the problem and its causes, as well as the respective construction of project plans, action plans and implementation monitoring.”
